Caustic Coastal has 11 studio spaces available in our new warehouse at Unit 2, Regents Trading Estate, Oldfield Road, Salford.
9 purpose built studios are housed in the main warehouse space and 2 pre-existing spaces underneath the gallery space.

All studios in the warehouse space include 3m high 12mm MDF walls, and all apart from the double include storage racking which the studios are built around reaching 5m high. The warehouse has skylights alongside bright energy efficient lighting across the whole space. Large warehouse doors allow access with vans or lorries and there is free car parking in our courtyard. We also have a small kitchenette and toilet underneath the gallery space. All warehouse studios are open plan format accessed via lockable doors from the warehouse gallery with 24 hour access. All warehouse studio spaces have the potential for a mezzanine expansion subject to permission.
Studio members will also have access to the use of our warehouse space at the discretion of Caustic Coastal staff when not in use for shows or the installation of projects. Alongside this our partnership with Islington Mill allows all studio members access to their facilities including the use of the kitchen, common room and courtyard. Studio membership prices are regulated in line with those at Islington Mill. We are keen on opening the space out to allow studio members more than just use of their space, and are open to ideas and projects that can help develop the space and people's practices as a whole for the benefit of everyone working within the Caustic Coastal. We welcome applications for all types of uses of the studios apart from music studios in the warehouse as these spaces are not suitable for this usage.
